Woodhouse Grange Cricket Club’s annual meeting settled on who will lead its teams next summer.
Steve Burdett, pictured, will skipper the first team for the seventh successive season having led them to three premier division titles in the last four years. His vice-captain will again be Nick Hadfield.
The second team has new leadership with Paul Grewer as captain and promising all-rounder Matthew Shepherd vice-captain.
Grange’s newly-elected team to the York Senior League division six will be led by Marcus Smith. Russell Bilton is his vice-captain.
The club’s York Vale League side will again be captained by Paul Townsley, with Steve Ainley as vice-captain.
Indoor nets for the senior sides will be held each Thursday at Archbishop Holgate’s School starting Thursday, January 27, from 8pm to 9.30pm.
