Senior Cricket League: Bolton Percy beaten at Malton

SECOND-PLACED Bolton Percy were well beaten at Malton & Old Malton in division two.
The Ryedale side chased down 150 to win by six wickets. Tom Atkinson hit 48 but Chris Hudson (4-48) and Mark Yates (3-38) combined to dismiss Percy in 43.3 overs. Mike Linsley then made an unbeaten 84.
Basement side Pocklington made a fine attempt at chasing a Beverley total of 294-5 before gaining a draw at 262-9.
Struggling Osbaldwick failed by an agonising two runs to defeat Dringhouses.
Batting first, Dringhouses reached 198-9 thanks to Ian Wilson’s 59, while Anthony Butterfield took 4-54.
Osbaldwick closed on 197-8, with Andy Hall (67) to the fore.
