Selby Cricket Club start the countdown to the 2010 season next month.
The club’s indoor net sessions get under way at Carlton High School sports hall on Tuesday, February 2, from 7pm to 9pm.
Coaching will be available at all the sessions and any new players are welcome to attend.
The club are again running four senior sides on a Saturday, plus a midweek Evening League side, and will be looking to build on last season’s successful campaign.
The first team are looking forward to the challenge of division two cricket in the York & District Senior League.
They start their season on April 24 against Whitkirk.
The second team open their division 4A campaign with the trip to newcomers Drax I.
The cup draws have been made in the HPH York Vale League and Selby III have been drawn away to Thixendale in the first round of the Scothern Construction Cup.
In the Premier Sports Cup, Selby IV will travel to Thorp Arch & Boston Spa III in the preliminary round.
If they are successful, they will play at Wheldrake II in the first round proper.
