DESPITE the whole of the Hunters York & District Senior League fixture list being destroyed due to rain, a number of divisions were won, promotions were gained, and relegations decided due to the points gained due from abandoned fixtures.

Both Easingwold and Wetherby have been relegated from Galtres Division Two, while Hovingham have a slim chance of survival if results elsewhere go their way.

It’s more clear cut in Ebor Division Two where the bottom three of Heworth II, Malton & Old Malton II, and Clifton Alliance II have all been relegated.

In Galtres Division Three, New Earswick are champions with Stillington as runners up. Civil Service II, Dringhouses II, and Heworth III have now all had their relegation confirmed.

Stamford Bridge II have won Ebor Division Three while second-placed Dunnington II lead Whitkirk II by just ten points going into the final week.

Pocklington II and Selby II will drop down a division, but Castleford II are almost certain to stay up, but must wait upon results from elsewhere.

In Galtres Division Four the honours go to Osbaldwick II who have gained promotion along with New Earswick II who will go up following Hovingham II’s request to remain in the same division next season.

Both Drax, and North Duffield have gained promotion in Ebor Division Four, but must wait until next week to see which one of them wins the division.
