CLIFTON Alliance and Studley Royal remain locked together at the top of the Hunters York & District Senior League Premier Division after both took maximum points from the latest round of matches.

Studley Royal were convincing winners by eight wickets at Bolton Percy, Dan Coad (44) top-scoring in a total of 117-2 for the visitors in reply to the home side's 116 all out, which featured three wickets each for Dan Craven (3-16) and William Wray (3-24).

Clifton Alliance were made to work hard by visitors Driffield Town before coming out on top by 17 runs.
