WOODHOUSE Grange remain on course for a fourth successive league title after beating Stamford Bridge by seven wickets.

Kev Murphy hit 51 as Stamford posted 162-7, with Andrew Horner claiming 3-31. Grange’s winning 166-3 included 58 by Andrew Bilton and an unbeaten 76 from Chris Bilton.

Easingwold stayed second after walloping York II by ten wickets after skittling the Clifton Parkers for 93.

Will Stephens made 38 but Paul Skilbeck took 3-14 and James Postill 3-38.

Fenner moved up to fourth with a comfortable win over Studley Royal, who were 91 runs adrift of their target of 212-6.

Hull Zingari boosted their survival hopes with a 95-run victory over Beverley Town, who were 119 all out chasing 214-7.

Bottom side Dunnington defeated fellow strugglers Sewerby by two wickets to go level on points with their opponents.

Chris Chapman made 54, Mike Artley 42 and Russ Robinson 32 in Sewerby's 186-8, with Adam Iyer claiming 3-52.

Jack Bolam led the response with 52, while Collis King made 26 and Iyer 26 not out.

Hosts Sheriff Hutton Bridge had a 22-run victory over Clifton Alliance, lost their final wicket off the second ball of the last over.

Paul Oldfield made 30 and Rob Pinder 25 before Paul Scaling hit 47 to take Bridge to 170 as Alex Renton claimed 5-39 and David Friend 3-49.

Clifton’s reply included 36 by Andy Parkinson and 25 by Nick Hindle but Bridge won it thanks to Ben Harrison (3-31), Jordan Grose (3-34) and Mark Fisher (3-44).
