STUDLEY Royal will face Fenner in the final of the Hunters York & District Senior League Premier Cup.

Batting first in their semi-final against Stamford Bridge, Studley made 184-8 thanks to R Nicholson's 88 and 33 by R Mackle.

Bridge slumped to 127 all out despite D Harper's 32 and 27 by Kev Murphy.

Man of the match Mackle took 4-23 and Matt Coad claimed 4-26 to give the Royals a 57-run win.

York II were ousted by Fenner, who batted first and racked up 216-7 from their 40 overs. York spinner Tom Spearman took 2-24 and Chris Burn 2-41.

The York reply never got going, despite 38 not out from skipper Tom Forsdyke.

The captain was supported by Burn (24), but Fenner finishing them off in the 38th over for 138.

The final will be played at Harrogate on Sunday, August 17.
