SESSAY Cricket Club are just one match away from Lord’s after beating Woodhouse Grange to reach the semi-finals of the npower Village Cup.
They won by 32 runs, getting revenge for their Charity Cup defeat last week, thanks to superb bowling and fielding along with an anchor innings of 45 not out from Jacob Spencer.
Sessay won the toss and made 173 in their 40 overs.
In reply, Nick Hadfield struck 58 before being stumped off the bowling of Matthew Till, who finished with 4-37 as Grange were dismissed for 141.
