THE ever-expanding Foss Evening Cricket League is expected to boast three divisions in 2011.
The league looked like shrinking to one division four season ago, but it has now grown to include 24 teams and is one of the biggest evening leagues in the area.
Officials have already received three firm applications to join the league this season, while others have shown interest. Games are played on Wednesdays from early May to mid-August, with matches between 16 and 20 overs per side.
Any clubs interested in joining should apply to league secretary Mike Wellock before Monday, February 14 by emailing garnshaw@msn.com All applications will be voted upon by member clubs at an annual general meeting at the end of this month.
