Fulford FC topple Heslington to reach league summit

FULFORD are the new leaders of York Minster Engineering Football League division two after a 3-0 win over Heslington.
The victory was secured with goals from Sam Harrison, Ashley Hope and Andrew Browse.
Rawcliffe defender Jack Blackmore starred as they collected their first points of the season with a 1-0 win at Bishopthorpe.
A Paul Branscombe penalty won it for them.
Division three leaders Barmby Moor dropped their first points of the season as they were held 0-0 at Sporting Knavesmire.
Bishop Wilton extended their unbeaten home run into double figures after they drew 1-1 with Elvington.
Marksman Tom Knowles, scoring for the fourth game on the trot, gave the hosts a half-time lead but James Hampshire levelled for the Harriers.
Selby Olympia are still looking for their first win of the season after a 3-2 home defeat to Ouseburn.
Richard Dwight, Alex Croft and Ben Jones netted for the visitors.
Tadcaster Town maintained their 100 per cent record in division four with a 6-1 win at Moor Lane.
There were goals for Will Deakin and George Hardy, plus a brace each for Adam Field and Tom Deighton.
Ben Overton replied for Moor Lane.
Two Connor Larne penalties helped York Acorn to a 3-0 home win over Selby Town Reserves.
Andy Dutton added the third.
Melbourne and LNER Builders drew 2-2. Jake Winspear and Paul Hunter were on target for Melbourne with Sam Hill getting both Builders’ goals.
