ALEX NIXON returns to the starting line up as York RUFC face a must-win game against Heath.
The Clifton Parkers entertain the Yorkshire One strugglers knowing defeat will mire them in the lower reaches of the division, but they are boosted by being able to name their playmaker in the starting XV.
Nixon has spent the best part of a year out of the side with an ankle injury but played half an hour last week as coach Sean Bass’ men rallied to respectability after trailing 31-0 at half-time to Driffield.
He plays at full-back with York searching for only their third win of the season.
It’s a top of the table battle in Yorkshire Two as Selby travel to West Leeds.
The Sandhill Laners are seven from seven this season, and six points clear of their Saturday rivals, and know a win will open up a significant gap at the top at this early stage of the campaign.
Pocklington travel to Newcastle to meet Northern in North One East and have named a joint first XV and Panthers squad that will be separated after training. Lock Chris Hyde is an absentee but three-quarter Tim Nixon is back in contention after a month out with a foot problem.
Malton & Norton will be confident of picking up their second win on the bounce when they visiting winless Darlington in North One East.
The Gannock-based outfit got back on the winning trail last weekend with a 55-0 thrashing of Durham City.
York RI, brought crashing back down to earth by leaders Old Rishworthians last time out, are hoping Old Modernians can provide them some redemption in Yorkshire Three at New Lane.
