RESERVE ‘A’ leaders Wigginton extended their unbeaten run to nine games with a 4-0 win at York RI in the York Minster Engineering Football League.
Tom Metcalfe struck twice from the penalty spot, while Eddie Clapham and Craig Huggins completed the Grasshoppers tally.
Copmanthorpe are five points adrift of the leaders after a 5-1 home success over Dringhouses.
Joe Gallaway equalised Cop’s opener from Matty Baker, before Baker hit his second and Stu Aughton, Stephen Purdy and Matty Bastock also found the net.
