Fulford thwarted at Tadcaster Magnets' fortress

Division two leaders Fulford were toppled 2-0 by Tadcaster Magnets.

Fulford, defending an unbeaten run of 12 games, were undone by goals from Josh Crawley and Ben Wilson, who helped maintain Magnets’ 19-match unbeaten home run.

Fulford retain top spot on goal difference from Strensall, who needed an own goal two minutes from time to secure a 4-3 win at luckless Rawcliffe.

Three times Strensall led through Jack Wilson (2) and Liam Winfield, but on each occasion Rawcliffe produced an equaliser, first through Paul Bransicombe, then Danny Coulson and finally John Moss.

However, there was no answer to the late own goal.

Osbaldwick were 5-0 winners over Thorpe, with Tom Wheatlands hitting a hat-trick to add to a goal apiece from Andrew Bilton and Adam Burton.

Bishopthorpe thrashed hosts Heslington 9-0, with goals from Ben Jones (4), Joe Gardham (3) Jordan Annette and an own goal.
