THIRSK & Sowerby Harriers runners have received prizes at the presentation ceremony for this summer’s Yorkshire Dales Series of races.
Age group prize winners were Nik Sutton-Haigh, Stephan Tomaszewski, Graham Robinson, Ian Codling and Marian Codling. A presentation was then made to Tony and Sue Mawson in recognition of their work in organising and calculating results for the series over many years.
The Harriers will stage their annual general meeting at Thirsk Athletic Club on Wednesday, November 14, at 8.30pm. All members are urged to attend.
Alan Harman was among thousands of runners competing in the second Kielder Marathon, finishing 546th in four hours, 24 minutes and 22 seconds.
