Warnock praises Leeds United’s togetherness

Neil Warnock is hoping the togetherness of the Elland Road squad will come to the fore again tomorrow when Leeds United head for Bristol City.

Having bounced back from defeats to Cardiff and Hull, United ended Nottingham Forest’s unbeaten run in the Championship last weekend and a much-changed team beat Premier League Everton in the Capitol Cup midweek.

Warnock said: “I’d said all week about Forest being favourites. I did it on purpose to take some of the pressure off because I knew we would have a few youngsters in and we wanted big performances from our big players. I thought we did that and it brought everyone together.”

Leeds lie 12th, but Warnock added: “This division is wide open.”
