Sporting Knavesmire opened their division three campaign with their first draw in 27 games as they shared the spoils Rufforth .
Scott Backhouse and Steve Barker shared the Sporting goals.
Curtis Barker scored the only goal of the game as Barmby Moor defeated Ouseburn 1-0.
In division four, new side York Acorn collected their first ever points in the York Minster League after their 3-1 home win over Wheldrake.
Sam Pimm's opener for the visitors was cancelled out by Leigh Dutton before Wilson Briggs put Acorn in front. Their win was confirmed by an own goal.
Huntington ’s league debut ended in a 4-0 loss to Melbourne for whom Jake Winspear and Jamie Sellars shared the plunder.
