JOHN PIPE’S late leveller earned Heslington a point from their York Minster Engineering Football League division two home game against Fulford .
An own goal had given Heslington an early lead before Sam Harrison struck twice in a minute for Fulford and Pipe salvaged a point with virtually the last kick.
Chris Harkin hit the only goal as Cliffe beat Osbaldwick 1-0.
Bishopthorpe picked up their first win of the season as two goals from Ben Jones and one from Paul Galdas helped them to a 3-1 win at Thorpe.
John Cooper hit a hat-trick in Strensall ’s 7-1 home win over Stamford Bridge. Jordan Wilson (2), Danny Mason and Jack Bell completed hosts’ tally, while Michael Woods hit the lone reply.
A goal in each half from Billy Martin and Steve Fratson helped Rufforth to a 2-1 win over Huby in division three. Tom Williams snatched a late goal for Huby.
F1 Racing opened their campaign with a 5-2 home win over promoted Bishop Wilton. First-half goals from Neil Yeowart (2), Andy Proctor and Ben Storey saw F1 race into a four-goal lead before Tom Knowles and Paul Tatterton reduced the deficit.
Yeowart completed his hat-trick in the second period.
Will Nicholson hit Barmby Moor’s winner two minutes from time as they won 2-1 at Elvington . Earlier a Greg Nesbitt free-kick had been cancelled out for the hosts by an Adam Robinson effort.
