THE York Veterans bowling season came to an end with the annual Executive versus Champions match at Shipton.

The York Amateur Bowls Association League president Jack Hebblethwaite, above centre, presented the league winners with their trophies.

The presentation was followed by the annual challenge match, which the Executive team won by four rinks to one, with one rink drawing, for a final score of 106-84.
