Four-way fight at the top of the York Minster Engineering Football League

FOUR teams are locked together at the top of the York Minster Engineering Football League premier division.

Leaders Wigginton Grasshoppers suffered their first defeat of the campaign, losing 3-2 at home to Copmanthorpe .

Dunnington thrashed Poppleton United 8-2 to join them on 15 points, along with Huntington Rovers , who trounced York St John University 10-0, and champions Old Malton St Mary’s, 3-1 victors at York RI.

Hamilton Panthers suffered their sixth straight defeat – an 8-6 reverse at home to Riccall United .

Easingwold Town were 7-0 winners at home to Rowntrees and Terrington Glory went down 3-2 at home to Selby RSSC.
