Station back on track in York Sunday Morning Football League

Station FC (Selby ) begin the defence of their Ian’s Cars of Barlby York Sunday Morning Football League treble success of last season by entertaining newly-promoted Dunnington on Sunday.
Hounds, last year’s runners-up, will be out to gain some silverware this season and are away to Wigginton Grasshoppers , the other newcomers to division one after three years out of the top-flight.
Last season’s York FA Sunday Morning Senior Cup winners Severus start at Skelton .
One-time cup specialists Skelton will be hoping – along with Enterprise and Acomb Celtic – to put good cup runs together this season as their best hope of filling their trophy cabinets.
Acomb Celtic travel to new side Eggborough Rangers in the first round of the League Cup. Enterprise have received a bye.
Last season’s division two champions, King William, open the campaign with a home cup tie against Hambleton, last season’s surprise finalists from the second division.
King William could be the division one dark horses with plenty of firepower such as striker Danny Gray.
