Pickering Town and Tadcaster Albion face FA Cup replays

A DRAMATIC climax saw Pickering Town secure an FA Cup extra preliminary round replay with hosts Jarrow Roofing Boldon CA.

Tom Fenwick gave the Pikes the lead with a minute left on the clock, but Michael Hedley levelled on the stroke of full-time.

The sides will meet again tomorrow (7.30pm).

There will also be a replay for Tadcaster Albion , who drew 1-1 with Consett at Ings Lane.

Steven Jeff gave the Brewers the lead on 11 minutes, but Michael Mackay pegged them back within a minute.

The teams will try again tomorrow (7.45pm).

Selby Town exited the competition after a 2-1 defeat at West Allotment Celtic.

The Robins were level at half-time after Tony Lancaster’s 14th-minute opener was cancelled out by Josh Dinsley in the 34th minute.

However, Dean Lea’s 65th-minute goal decided the tie.

Scarborough Athletic also crashed out, losing 1-0 at Spennymoor Town.

Meanwhile, Knaresborough Town were unable to repeat their 6-1 League Cup win over Askern Villa as they went down 1-0 to the same opponents in Northern Counties East League division one.

Luke Durham bagged the winner on 38 minutes.

Knaresborough are in league action again tomorrow, when they travel to Rossington Main (7.45pm).
