YORK City drew 2-2 with Leicester City in a behind-closed-doors pre-season game at the Foxes' training ground.

The Minstermen, who drew 1-1 at Grantham on Saturday, were on target through former Leicester City forward Ashley Chambers and summer signing Michael Coulson.

The visitors led twice but were pegged back by Jacob Blythe and Jermaine Beckford, the former Leeds striker bagging the equaliser with ten minutes remaining.

City's penultimate friendly is this Saturday's Bootham Crescent clash against Middlesbrough, which is a benefit game for long-serving defender David McGurk.
