Holgate WMC are in contention for three major club trophies.

In the Williamson Cup semi-final, they beat Stewart 72-71 to play RI Amateurs in the final.

In the league, a stunning 7-1 win over leaders Selby took them to within five points of the leaders.

And they play Nafferton at West Park for a place in the Marshall Shield semi-finals.

Williamson Cup final: Monday, July 30 at Retreat, 6.30pm for 6.45pm: RI Amateurs v Holgate WMC.

Freedom & Fellowship Cup final: Monday, July 30 at Clarence Gardens: Bootham v Haxby Road.
