PADDY McLAUGHLIN fired in two goals as York City beat pre-season friendly hosts Pickering Town 6-2.
The Minstermen led 2-0 thanks to goals from Michael Potts and John McReady before Liam Salt got the Northern Counties East League premier division hosts on the scoresheet.
McLaughlin then netted twice for the visitors before striker Salt's second goal made it 4-2 at the Recreation Ground.
McReady then bagged his second and Reece Kelly rounded off the scoring for City, who host Oldham Athletic in their next friendly on Saturday.
