Darts: Terry Temple knocked out of Crawley tournament

WHITWELL-ON-THE-HILL’S Terry Temple was knocked out by eventual winner Dave Chisnall in the latest PDC Players Championship tournament at Crawley.

Former BDO World Championship finalist Chisnall beat Temple 6-4 in the second round before going on to defeat Justin Pipe by the same scoreline in the final.

Temple had earlier overcome top Swede Magnus Caris 6-4 to set up the meeting with Chisnall.

A day earlier, in the first Players Championship at Crawley, Temple bowed out 6-4 in the first round against Steve Brown.
