FORMER Test cricketers Gladstone Small and Colin Croft conducted the draw for the first Pocklington Six-a-side Cricket Tournament.
Ex-England bowler Small and West Indies legend Croft made the draw, watched by Pocklington first team skipper Matt Atkinson, during the first Test between their two old sides at Lord’s.
The family day and tournament will take place on Sunday, June 3, at Pocklington Cricket Club in Burnby Lane, starting at 12.30pm. Entry is free.
Atkinson said: “We encourage everyone to attend to enjoy the cricket and the activities on the day. Colin and Gladstone wished the club well with the first tournament and hoped the weather would make sure the cricket action is excellent.”
