YORK City Knights chief Chris Thorman is poised to hold a head count before naming his side to face Keighley Cougars in the Co-operative Championship at Huntington Stadium on Sunday (3pm).
Player-coach Thorman had been concerned about whether the club would be able to field a full complement of 17 players after a host of injuries affected the squad.
Although John Davies (shoulder) and Ben Johnston (thumb) are still major doubts, the Knights have been boosted by the return to training of club captain Alex Benson.
There has also been positive news on the fitness of Joe Hemmings and James Houston.
Winger Waine Pryce is back in full training but is targeting the home game against Swinton on June 10 for a first-team comeback.
