  • "Well done York City in finishing 4th in a Conference League which is getting stronger year by year. Today however was pretty mediocre but what could you expect from a virtually wingless team with little pace down the outside. As a team we were propped up by a good performance from a veteran keeper and a matchless display from the centre backs Doig and Parslow. It had to be with the Managers sights on the Play Offs. What would Mills give for a fit Kerr at this moment.I have no doubt that given a fair share of luck on Wednesday night and with the strong backing of a large and partisan crowd City will take a lead to Mansfield for the away leg. This is the best chance the Club has had to get back into league football. Get behind them supporters!!"
