Richard Buck reaches UK Indoor Championship final

CITY of York Athletics Club star Richard Buck remains on course for a fourth 400 metres UK Indoor Championship in five years in Sheffield.

The 25-year-old won his heat in 46.98 seconds, the fastest time across the three races, and then breezed through his semi-final later in the day.

In the the final, at 2.18pm on Sunday, Buck will face Luke Lennon Ford, Thomas Phillips, Michael Bingham, Nigel Levine and Rob Tobin for a place at next month's World Indoor Championships in Istanbul.
