I was a little skeptical about GM's signings during and since the transfer window... looking at the games backing up into March I think that a larger squad is looking like a pretty good plan, fair play GM!.... anyone any ideas of when the Grimsby game will be played?

The pitch was found to be frozen solid in large areas at 0700 hrs when the first snow was cleared. Fans reported -10 degrees on the way to the ground.

Temperatures not set to go above zero by kick-off. The Chairman was at the ground at 7am and soon realised that the snow-clearing effort was pointless. He called the match off at the time. The fans got treated to a free breakfast.

An early decision is good for both sets of travelling fans. The postponement is disappointing for both clubs. Fixture coff ongestion may be the winner.

Match a week this Tues, if your game is on this Tues? when the game is played, both teams should be have stronger teams and new players assimilated
into the team. A better quality match, pitch and contest. We might be in a playoffs by then as well.

Match off - being saying it all week - pointless exercise clearing the snow - at least we don't have a 12-30am inspection. Looks like an afternoon in front of the television, hoping for a game Tuesday - forecast not brilliant - thought we bought some frost covers!!! Maybe we should go back to the old straw method - on top of the covers

I heard a weather forecast this morning for Tuesday which said positively TROPICAL at 8 degrees. So quite optimistic for that one.

Good gives time for new signings to gel and Jason Walker to get back to Match fitness for a team also going for the play offs.

The only thing which improves match fitness is playing in matches, so from that viewpoint Jason Walker is no further forward.

Shame about the pp - will be a fab match when played - probably six all given the two sides scoring records!

Sounds as if you have some very keen fans and chairman!! Well done for at least trying to get it on but the grounds are far too hard at the moment. We have a re-arranged BSBP home fixture with Gateshead on Wednesday 22nd. Feb., and so there is no chance of any re-arrangement of yesterday's match for the 21st.Feb!! Hope though we can have a re-run on the 25th. Feb in the FATQF, providing of course we can see-off a decent Ebbsfleet side this Tuesday night - weather permitting!!

You are right, but he will be getting fit against lesser opposition for the next few matches before he has to face the likes of Grimsby.

According to the local weather forecast they say that its going to be milder with no overnight frost. City have obviously had the pitch covered, and judging by the way its thawing right now, we may get a game on Tuesday.

seems quite amazing the contrast in the weather at the moment, as i have just watched an A League game played in 38 degrees and they had to have an official drinks break half way through each half, players were taking salt tablets to combat dehydration. i was okay i had a few scooners in the bar, Yep its thirsty work watching sooccer in Australia at the moment. We are in danger of having games called of for bone hard surfaces, but because of the lack of rain in Perth. Just seen a lad called Daniel Mcbreen playing for Central Coast, usefull player, I think he might have played for City a couple of seasons a go,he,s doing well this season, good in the air and holds the ball up well,Hope you get some tropical weather soon!!!
