FA Trophy draw pairs York City with Bath City or Grimsby Town

YORK City will travel to Bath City or Grimsby Town if they beat Ebbsfleet United in the third round of the FA Trophy.

The winners of the two ties, scheduled for tomorrow night, will meet each other in the quarter-finals.

Unbelievable. Sat here in Bristol office opposite the only other conference fan I know here - a haddock and cod-head.

Up pops the draw - potentially Cleethorpes twice in a couple of weeks. To be fair, York were the only team he didn't want to draw, but then again, Bath have been on a decentish run for them haven't they..........?

Assumes of course we roll Ebbsfleet over too!

Its too soon to say anything really as we still have to beat Ebbsfleet, but its not the best draw that we could have been given. Either of those two teams away from home will be tough. Grimsby are flying right now and City usually have to battle to get anything at Bath. Anyway the way the weather is looking it could be weeks before it becomes reality.

If we do manage to get through and it's Grimsby at least it will be a decent gate with plenty travelling I'd thought, and split 50-50. We need the dough!

Personally I wouldn't risk the likes of Walker in the Ebbsfleet game. League playoffs are 100 percent more important.

In Gary we trust regardless.
