ONLY one game beat the freezing conditions in the York Minster Engineering Football League.
Second-placed Amotherby & Swinton made up some ground on division one leaders Terrington Glory with a 4-1 victory at home to St Clement’s on Saturday.
Mike Brown gave the hosts an early lead and Robbie Pinder doubled Amotherby’s advantage before the break.
St Clement’s, who were looking for their first win in seven games, halved the deficit in the second half.
However, the hosts wrapped up the points with a second strike from Pinder and a late goal from Ryan Boyd.
Only one game was played in the Evo-Stik League, while the entire Northern Counties East League programme was wiped out.
There were also no games played in Ryedale’s newitts.com Beckett League.
