York Charity Cricket Cups draw

THE draws have been made for the opening rounds of the York Charity Cricket Cups.

In the first round of the Minster Engineering Senior Charity Cup, York will host Woodhouse Grange and Sessay will entertain Acomb.

Clifton Alliance and Easingwold received byes and, in the semi-finals, Alliance will host York or Woodhouse, while Easingwold take on Sessay or Acomb.

The final will be played at York’s Clifton Park ground on July 11.

The Stephensons Junior Charity Cup final will be played at Osbaldwick on July 21.

The draws are:

Preliminary round: The Retreat v Rufforth, Dunnington v Cawood, Huntington v Osbaldwick.

Round 1: Rowntrees v Ovington, York II v Acomb II, Stamford Bridge v Woodhouse Grange II, Heworth v The Retreat or Rufforth, South Milford v Tadcaster Magnet, Stockton & Hopgrove v Burn, Hemingbrough v Dunnington or Cawood, Huntington or Osbaldwick v Barmby Moor.
