A TEAM of Nestlé Rowntree RUFC veterans rolled back the years to beat York Cavaliers 24-12.
Trees full-back Pete Lockett split the defence for a converted try, although York replied when prop John Millar powered over and they took the lead with a score from centre Steve Brain, who raced away from halfway and Tim Wardman converted.
Nestlé levelled just before half-time through skipper Grant Cockburn.
Trees defended well throughout the second period and good handling created tries for winger Ashleigh Walters and centre Tim Nash, with Lockett adding his second conversion to wrap up the victory.
