York City in the Community are launching new coaching programmes at three different venues next week.

The eight-week courses will be held at Manor School, Huntington Secondary School and Derwent Junior School and are designed for boys and girls aged between 11 and 16.

A different skill base will be focussed on each week and there will be regular opportunities to play matches.

Talented players may be recommended to York City’s centre of excellence or York City Ladies and there will also be free match tickets for everybody who completes a full programme.

Sessions at Manor School will take place from Monday, November 1 to December 14 from 6pm to 7pm with an introductory price of £14.

The Huntington course is from Tuesday, November 2 to December 21 from 5.30pm to 6.30pm with an introductory price of £16.

At Derwent, the programme lasts from Thursday, November 4 to December 23 from 6.30pm to 7.30pm. The introductory price for that course is £16.
