Erik Van Lakerveld took a course record at the fourth event in Clifton Cycling Club's evening time-trial series.
He completed the 12.5 mile circuit in 29 minutes 52 seconds, more than two minutes ahead of second-placed Charlie Evans who logged 32.18. Third was Nigel Goscinski of the Obri Coaching team in 32.19, while York Cycleworks rider Alastair Kay was fourth with 32:31.
Knaresborough RT's Luke Barber, aged 17, was fifth and also fastest junior rider with 32.35.
Meanwhile, 15-year-old Clifton rider Matt Shipley continued his excellent form in the second round of the Northern Area Youth Circuit Championship at Odsal Stadium, Bradford.
The Fangfoss teenager was one of a group of five who broke clear of the 16-man field halfway through the 35-kilometre race. The break fought out a 30mph sprint for the finish line, with Matt grabbing third place.
