Leeds United confirm Jermaine Beckford contract talks put on hold

LEEDS United manager Simon Grayson has confirmed all contract talks, including striker Jermaine Beckford’s, have been placed on hold until the end of the season.

Defenders Andrew Hughes and Rui Marques, goalkeeper Casper Ankergren and League One player of the year Beckford are among the players whose deals end in June.

Grayson said: “I don’t want anything to affect our focus. They are comfortable with that.”
