Family Tennis Tournament to be held in July

THE York Family Tennis Tournament is on the move.
The Rowntree Park event has been switched from its traditional dates in early May to the weekend of Saturday, July 17 and Sunday, July 18.
The Nestlé-sponsored tournament includes doubles teams featuring father and son, mother and daughter, father and daughter and mother and son. This year will see the introduction of a brother and sister event.
The closing date for entries is Friday, July 2. Entry forms will be distributed to all clubs.
Meanwhile, the Peter Terry Junior Mixed Doubles tournament will be held in Rowntree Park on Sunday, June 6.
Entrants must have been under the age of 16 on January 1, 2010.
The entry fee of £5 per pair should be sent to Phil Langley, 34 Minster View, Wigginton, York YO32 2GN before May 29.
