POKER DE SIVOLA broke North Yorkshire's duck in the opening race on day two of the Cheltenham Festival.
Trained at West Witton by Ferdy Murphy, the seven-year-old (14-1) reeled in Becauseicouldntsee up the hill to win the 140th Year Of The National Hunt Challenge Cup.
Murphy said: "It's absolutely brilliant. Katie (Walsh, jockey) got a few fantastic leaps out of him. She was absolutely brilliant on him."
