City of York Athletics Club ace Richard Buck sits out relay qualifier

CITY of York Athletics Club runner Richard Buck was rested as Great Britain reached the final of the 4x400 metres relay at the World Indoor Championships.

Buck ran twice in the individual 400m in Doha, Qatar, on Friday, progressing through the heats before exiting at the semi-final stage.

Conrad Williams, Nigel Levine, Luke Lennon-Ford and Chris Clarke finished fourth in three minutes 9.59 seconds to qualify for the final.

Buck will be hoping to win a place in the quartet for the final on Sunday.
