Positive outlook as Leeds United tackle League One big three

THE next three games could define Leeds United’s destiny in Coca-Cola League One.

The Whites travel to Southampton tomorrow before hosting fifth-placed Millwall on Monday night and then travelling to leaders Norwich City the following Saturday.

Manager Simon Grayson, buoyed by Tuesday night’s 4-1 victory at Tranmere Rovers, said: “We have three big games coming up and we know we can win them.

“The win (against Tranmere) was what we needed and what’s been coming.

“We need to maintain that level as we go on. I’ve been positive all along because I’ve believed that wasn’t far away.

“You can’t get too carried away, we have another 11 games to go, but if we can replicate that performance we will be a handful for everyone.”

United go into tomorrow’s game four points adrift of Norwich.

Although Southampton are tenth, 16 points off the play-off places, they have battled back from a ten-point deduction.
