CHESTER City’s record has been expunged from the Blue Square Premier table following the club’s expulsion.
The league’s member clubs have voted in favour of the Football Conference board’s recommendation to kick Chester out after the club’s suspension for a failure to fulfil fixtures against Forest Green and Wrexham.
It is a decision which will see City move three points closer to second-placed Stevenage in the table with the clubs having now played the same number of games.
Leaders Oxford stay nine points ahead of the Minstermen but fourth-placed Luton have moved to within three points of the Bootham Crescent club and now boast a game in hand.
