THERE were six different names on the scoresheet as Selby Olympia beat Cliffe 6-0 in division one of the Ian’s Cars of Barlby Sunday Morning Football League.

Chris Bell, George Wojcik, Chris Coxon, Leon Wood, Rob Friar and James Simpson were all on target for Olympia to leave local rivals Cliffe still searching for their first points of the season.

In division three, Gypsy Moth brushed aside Acomb Athletic 6-2 with goals from Kevin Weston and Joe Ratcliffe, plus double strikes from Dion Quanborough and Michael Mapplebeck.

Top marksman Ian Huddlestone struck twice to give Hambleton Lions a 2-0 half-time lead against Cawood.

The second period saw Cawood pull it back to 2-1 with a goal from James Darlison, but a strike from Gary Stewart made it 3-1 to the Lions.

In division four north, Linton-on-Ouse lost 6-2 to Raskelf after conceding four goals in the last 15 minutes.

Just as Linton looked like they would get something out of the game, Raskelf turned up the pressure.

The goals came from Stefan Dzuirzynski, Tom Hilling, Andy Metcalfe, Lee Cattley and Josh Williams with a brace.

Linton replied with strikes from Lee Johnson and Daniel Atkinson.
