FORMER England Test batsman Graham Thorpe was the guest of honour at the Hunters the estate agents York Senior Cricket League’s principal social event.
Thorpe, who starred as a left-handed batsman for England and Somerset, headed up the league’s presentation night at York Racecourse.
He is pictured front left with Steve Burdett, captain of the premier division-winning team Woodhouse Grange.
Representing the league, back from left, are league managing secretary Albert Pattison, chairman Bernard Stevens and president George Myerscough.
