Minstermen sign utility player Alex Lawless

York City today snapped up utility player Alex Lawless.
The 26-year-old has joined from fellow Blue Square Premier outfit Forest Green Rovers, where he made more than 100 appearances.
Lawless, who is equally comfortable playing at right-back, right midfield or central midfield, started his career as a trainee with Fulham.

Decent squad signing in my opinion. Capable in midfield or at right-back. Don’t see him as a key player though.

Is he a ball winner ? good passer of the ball?
If last season is anything to go by our midfield is desperate for someone with some ability who can create opportunity for others and occasionally get in the box and score a few. Lets hope this is that man.
