York City reserves shared in an eight-goal thriller at Barnsley, where they were only denied by an 88th-minute leveller from Luke Potter, who had a trial at KitKat Crescent last week.
City led 3-1 and 4-3 before being denied by Potter’s last-gasp strike after Adam Boyes (2), Niall Henderson and Simon Russell scored for the City second-string.
