FULFORD wrapped up the division two title of the Fulford Ladies Invitational Tennis League with back-to-back victories over Rufforth and Boston Spa.

Captain Jill McCreedy and Charlotte O’ Shea top scored in both matches to lead Fulford back into the top flight.

Copmanthorpe beat Knaresborough 57-51 in a good end-of-season mid-table battle while Jill Street and Gill McGrory were unbeaten for Bubwith as they defeated Boston Spa.

Nicola Browne and Kim Lees starred as Stamford Bridge leapfrogged Sheriff Hutton to take the division seven crown with a 75-33 win at Wilberfoss 2.

Elsewhere, Carole Martin and Heather Hogg won all their rubbers as Dunnington 4 trounced Rufforth 3 to finish in third place.
