YORK City Knights have set another world record.

James Ford’s men thrashed West Wales Raiders 144-0 in April to break the world record for a biggest-ever win in professional rugby league.

Today they won 130-0 in Llanelli against the same opposition to set a new mark for the biggest-ever AWAY win.

The result put York top of Betfred League One, two points ahead of Bradford Bulls although the Bulls can draw level on points again when they play North Wales Crusaders tomorrow. The scoreline also more than cancelled out the Bulls’ points-difference advantage which had stood at 92 points before kick-off.

Ash Robson scored a hat-trick inside 13 minutes and finished with four tries while there were trebles too for debutant Perry Whiteley and former York Acorn full-back Matt Chilton.

Connor Robinson, already the biggest goal- and point-scorer in League One, finished with another 21 goals, plus a try, for a personal haul of 46 points.
