YORK City Knights' title showdown with Bradford Bulls is on the horizon - but head coach James Ford says he hasn't yet given it a second thought.

Ford takes his men to the capital today to take on London Skolars knowing victory would put the Knights level on points again with the former World Club champions, at least for 24 hours, before the Bulls go to Hunslet tomorrow.

York then go to Bradford next weekend - likely to be backed by a big travelling army - knowing an Odsal upset would have the two teams level pegging at the summit, separated only by points difference, with eight games to go.

Defeat would leave the full-time Bulls - already the huge odds-on title favourites (at 1-6 on) - virtually nailed on to bag the sole automatic promotion spot, barring a shock collapse.

But Ford said his current focus was solely on the Skolars.

"I haven't thought about Bradford," he said when asked about plans for next week.

"We're taking it one game at a time, trying to tick two points off at a time.

"We need to focus on being better than we were last week and having a mentality to work hard and try to improve. If we do that, we will be happy."
