YORK extended their unbeaten run at the top of the Fulford Ladies Invitational League's first division with an 82-26 demolition of Pocklington.

In division two, Lorraine Peary and Lucy Kidd bagged 24 games for Boston Spa in their victory over Pocklington.

David Lloyd's Frances Mutter and Chris Twigge finished unbeaten in their team's win over Castlegarth, while leaders Fulford overcame a depleted Starbeck, although they were pushed hard as Helen Halsall and Lisa Jacob claimed 29 games for the Harrogate side.

At the top of division three, Dunnington march on after easing past Bishopthorpe 68-40, but Fulford’s good run was checked by defeat to Wistow and Bubwith just missed out on their first points, falling to a 56-52 loss against Knaresborough.

Julie Barnes and Kate Pirie’s 26 games were invaluable for Boston Spa as they scraped a 57-51 triumph over Copmanthorpe.

Cliffe got the better of Heworth in their top-of-the-table division four clash, with Liz Boville and Mary Pepper winning 23 games in a 57-51 victory.

Lucy Hodsdon and Anna Morley were unbeaten for Sutton as they overcame Rowntree Park, while there were wins for Riccall and Appleton over Wigginton and Tollerton respectively.

In division five, Wilberfoss are top and they pasted Copmanthorpe 80-28, with Chris Oldfield and Georgina Pratt contributing 29 games.

Similar scores from all three couples saw Poppleton seconds see off their third team 62-46.
